Building the Future of Orthopaedic Research
RORN is an international non-profit research community dedicated to advancing orthopaedic science through collaboration, education, mentorship, and high-quality research.
Advancing evidence. Improving patient care.
We connect orthopaedic surgeons, residents, medical students, and researchers worldwide to produce high-quality evidence that improves musculoskeletal healthcare and supports evidence-based clinical decision-making.
To become one of the world’s leading collaborative orthopaedic research networks.
We envision a future where every motivated researcher has access to mentorship, international collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to impactful orthopaedic research regardless of geographic location.
Our Story
The Beginning
RORN began as a small WhatsApp group created to connect orthopaedic researchers who shared a passion for evidence-based medicine, collaboration, and academic excellence.

Academic Support
The initiative received strong encouragement and valuable guidance from Prof. Dr. Hamed L. Khalil, whose support reinforced the vision of building an international collaborative orthopaedic research community.
Official Launch of RORN
RORN was officially launched as a non-profit international research network dedicated to advancing orthopaedic research, education, mentorship, and scientific collaboration.
The Journey Continues
RORN continues to expand its international collaborations, support multicenter research, mentor early-career investigators, and create opportunities that advance orthopaedic science worldwide..
